D. Bradley Jordan

Of Counsel

D. Bradley Jordan, Esq., a seasoned trial attorney licensed in South Carolina and Washington, D.C., serves as Of Counsel for Ahn Law Firm, LLC.  

Mr. Jordan was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and grew up in Edgemoor, South Carolina.  He is married to Renea Bradberry, who currently teaches English to seventh- and eighth-grade middle school students at Westminster Catawba Christian School.  Mr. and Mrs. Jordan have three children: Sarah Elizabeth, Jacob Bradley, and Margaret Grace.

Mr. Jordan attended public schools in Richburg, South Carolina, until he graduated from Lewisville High School, and received the prestigious James F. Byrnes Scholarship for four years of his undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina.  In 1987, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina with a minor equivalent in Sociology.  

Mr. Jordan then attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, from which he received his Juris Doctor degree in 1990.  Subsequently, he studied Theology at the Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, South Carolina.  In 2016, Mr. Jordan graduated from Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming.

Prior to establishing his own law practice in 1996, Mr. Jordan worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Luke N. Brown, Jr. and the Honorable Gerald C. Smoak in the 14th Circuit of South Carolina, which comprises Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton, Allendale, and Hampton Counties.  Subsequently, he worked as an associate attorney for Moss & Kuhn, P.A. in Beaufort, South Carolina, and as an associate attorney for Larry C. Brandt, P.A. in Walhalla, South Carolina.  

 

In 1996, Mr. Jordan established the law firm of Jordan & Plowden, in Seneca, South Carolina.  Two years later, he formed Jordan Law Firm, P.C.  During this time, he served as an adjunct professor of Business Law at Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina.  After moving back to Chester County in December 2001, he worked as a partner at Boyd & Jordan, LLC in Rock Hill, South Carolina.  He began operating as Jordan Law Firm, P.C. again in 2004.

As a skilled trial lawyer, talented legal storyteller, and self-trained wordsmith, Mr. Jordan has argued for his clients’ rights and interests in the Family Court and the Circuit Court of South Carolina, as well as before the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission, the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce, and the Social Security Administration.  He has tried over 50 cases to a jury verdict and has handled cases that arose in Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, Colleton, Anderson, Fairfield, Oconee, Greenville, Pickens, Spartanburg, Cherokee, York, Lancaster, Chester, Lexington, Richland, Florence, Horry, and Charleston Counties.  

 

Mr. Jordan has also been admitted “Pro Hac Vice" to the courts in North Carolina, Georgia, and Washington, D.C.  From Jordan Law Firm’s Rock Hill and Columbia offices, Mr. Jordan zealously represents his clients in discrimination, employment, medical/dental malpractice, nursing home liability, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and other civil litigation matters.

Mr. Jordan is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the South Carolina Association for Justice, the South Carolina Association of Injured Worker Advocates, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He is a Certified Civil Mediator.

 

He is admitted to practice law in the State of South Carolina (1990), the United States District Court of South Carolina (1992), the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit (1999), the United States Immigration Court (2016), and the District of Columbia (2016).  

 

Currently, Mr. Jordan serves as a Deacon at Edgemoor Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and actively supports Lewisville High School Athletics in Richburg and Westminster Catawba Athletics in Rock Hill, as well as Dixie Youth Baseball and Youth Soccer in Chester County.  Mr. Jordan was elected to fill an unexpired term for District 1 of the Chester County Council, and has been elected twice to a seat in the same Council.

As an avid sports fan and non-professional athlete, Mr. Jordan enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and tennis.  He also enjoys playing golf, attending University of South Carolina football and baseball games with his family, and watching his son or one of his daughters play one of their sports.
