Rock Hill Law Firm Expands As Additional Lawyers Join
Ahn Law Firm, LLC, a Rock Hill-based law firm, has announced that two experienced lawyers have joined the firm. Sean M. Tropea joined as an Associate Attorney, and Alec P. Wilczynski as Of Counsel.
At Ahn Law Firm, Mr. Tropea handles personal injury matters while assisting Chan M. Ahn with the firm’s immigration, contract, employment, and civil litigation matters as it expands its practice into Georgia, where its Atlanta/Duluth Office is scheduled to open on May 1, 2018. Prior to joining Ahn Law Firm, Mr. Tropea worked as an Associate Attorney at a large plaintiffs’ trial law firm in Charleston, South Carolina, handling primarily automobile and premises liability matters.
Mr. Wilczynski represents companies and individual clients in a variety of complex immigration matters before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), as well as the U.S. State Department and its consular offices abroad. An attorney and former Foreign Service Officer, Mr. Wilczynski joined the U.S. State Department in 1982 and worked as a Consular Officer in Mexico City, Mexico, and subsequently, served in Argentina, the Philippines, and several posts in Japan. During his Foreign Service career, Mr. Wilczynski worked on visa and immigration matters filed with the State Department as attorney-advisor for the Visa Office in Washington, D.C., Chief of the Visa Section in Tokyo, Japan, and Consul General in Sapporo, Japan. Mr. Wilczynski also has considerable experience in the area of international trade and investment. He worked as a Trade Negotiator at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative in Washington, D.C., negotiating bilateral agreements aimed at securing international protection for U.S. intellectual property rights holders.
